Finally public
Today 15th May 2024 is the day I have put my domain to some use (finally). Is it a big deal? Why didn’t I do it sooner? And why to do this at all (in such a complicated way)? The answer to the first question is: No, not really. But it matters to me. The second question: Because I am a full-time hustler for FTSE100 company and I didn’t have enough free time to set this up (my way). Finally, why to do this… Remember when Facebook had a feature called Notes? I do. Do you know why? Because all my notes got read only and they are no longer accessible on my profile - if you don’t have a link, you will not see them. Granted, publishing anything on Facebook is not a particularly great idea, but it was something. And it was taken away from me. I didn’t just set up blogspot (like they exist nowadays xD) or anything else, because I didn’t want it to get shut down like my Facebook Notes. There are other reasons, like this set up is fairly independent (more on that later) and even if this gets shut down, it’s fairly easy to get it up and running elsewhere. I will admit it’s not ideal and it is a bit hacky, but it’s working. Bookmark me and hell, use that RSS feed. That’s right. You can check back via RSS reader like you ought to. Can you do this on these other platforms? I don’t know and I don’t care. This is an independent outlet and you have an option of following this independently. So there you go. When I was still young, I came across this website, that advertised its six rules on its front page. Rule #6: “If you don’t like it, don’t read it.” And there you go again. If you don’t like it, there’s no way to flag it. There’s no big daddy Google to ban this. So, if you don’t like it… Now that this is public, I might republish stuff that is no longer on-line, stuff that was never on-line and come up with some new stuff. That’s it for now.
